Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines permitted and prohibited uses of:

  • eWay Corp websites and digital properties
  • Cloud infrastructure, hosting environments, and managed services operated by eWay Corp
  • Support systems, communication channels, and service interfaces

This Policy applies to all users, clients, and third parties accessing or interacting with eWay Corp systems ("Users").


2. General Principles

Users must:

  • Use eWay Corp services and systems for lawful, authorized business purposes
  • Respect the security, integrity, and availability of systems and data
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations

3. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use eWay Corp systems, infrastructure, or services to:

3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices
  • Distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content

3.2 Security Violations

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization
  • Bypass authentication or security controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt services, networks, or infrastructure

3.3 Malicious or Disruptive Behavior

  • Introduce malware, ransomware, or malicious code
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
  • Use systems in a manner that degrades performance for other users

3.4 Abuse of Resources

  • Use infrastructure for unauthorized high-volume or non-business workloads
  • Operate cryptocurrency mining, botnets, or similar resource-intensive processes without approval
  • Conduct bulk data scraping or automated extraction without authorization

3.5 Misuse of Communications

  • Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited mass communications
  • Impersonate another individual or organization
  • Use eWay systems to harass, abuse, or threaten others

3.6 Unauthorized Access or Credential Misuse

  • Share access credentials in an insecure or unauthorized manner
  • Use another user's credentials without permission
  • Fail to implement reasonable safeguards for access control

4. Support and Operational Data Use

When interacting with eWay Corp support or service teams:

  • Users may provide system-level information (e.g., logs, configurations, access details)
  • Users should avoid sharing permanent or highly privileged credentials unless required

Users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and appropriate information
  • Using secure methods for sharing sensitive data

eWay Corp reserves the right to refuse or limit support where:

  • Information provided poses security risks
  • Proper access controls are not followed

5. Client Responsibilities in Managed Environments

For hosted or managed services, clients are responsible for:

  • Application-level security and content
  • User access management within their applications
  • Compliance with applicable regulations specific to their data

eWay Corp is responsible for infrastructure and platform management as defined in contractual agreements.


6. Monitoring and Enforcement

eWay Corp may:

  • Monitor systems and networks to ensure compliance with this AUP
  • Investigate suspected violations
  • Restrict, suspend, or terminate access where violations occur

We may also:

  • Remove or disable content or workloads that pose security or operational risks
  • Report unlawful activities to appropriate authorities

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, please contact us.


8. Changes to This Policy

eWay Corp may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
