About the role
eWay Corp is a managed WebOps and cloud infrastructure operator serving public and commercial sector clients across the United States. Wagento Creative, part of the eWay Corp family, delivers e-commerce development on platforms such as Magento, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopware, and Shopify Plus.
We are seeking a Content Writer to lead our storytelling and brand voice. You will create high impact, original, and SEO friendly content that engages our audience across every digital touchpoint, from technical blogs to social media campaigns. You will be the voice of Wagento. This role is based near NIBM Road, Pune.
Responsibilities
- Research and write original, SEO friendly blogs and articles that drive organic traffic and position Wagento as a thought leader in e-commerce.
- Craft engaging copy for social media platforms to build community and increase brand awareness.
- Develop compelling newsletters that keep clients and prospects informed and engaged.
- Ensure all content aligns with Wagento's brand voice, with consistent tone and quality across channels.
- Work closely with the marketing and SEO teams to identify trending topics and optimize content for reach.
- Stay current with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, and industry trends.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional content writing experience, preferably in B2B tech or e-commerce.
- Experience working in an IT service based industry.
- A proven ability to integrate keywords naturally and write content that ranks without compromising quality.
- An exceptional command of English, with a portfolio showcasing diverse writing styles across blogs, newsletters, and social media.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Familiarity with Zoho CRM is a plus.
- Self motivated, with strong creativity and attention to detail.
Education
- Degree in marketing, journalism, or English literature.
